Tantalum is a tough, ductile, brilliant gray metal. Tantalum
and Tantalum alloys (Ta2.5W or Ta10W) are used in electronic
components, chemical processing, medical industry,
aerospace, superconductivity industry and a lot of other
applications. The advantages of tantalum are in an excellent
corrosion resistance, high temperature strength, good
machinability and bio-compatibility.
