INCONEL® Alloy 718
2.4668

UNS N07718

A precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing also significant amounts of iron, nio-bium, and molybdenum along with lesser amounts of aluminium and titanium. It combines corrosion resistance and high strength with outstanding weldability including resistance to postweld cracking. The alloy has excellent creep-rupture strength at temperatures to 1300°F (700°C). Used in gas turbines, rocket motors, spacecraft, nuclear reactors, pumps and tooling.
